The positions are open to candidates from all countries. Position Description: The Joint Laboratory is responsible for the joint meridian chains observation and data converging in the west hemisphere, the joint space meridian chains observation and data converging in the low latitude area both in the east and west hemisphere. It is located at headquarters of INPE, Sao Jose dos Campos, Brazil. Thepostdoctoral fellows are expected to be resident in the Joint Laboratory in Brazil for one year,with possible extensions. Thesuccessful candidates will beresponsible for the Laser Radar, or the Digisondeand TEC, and will participate inthe study of upper atmosphere and ionosphere respectively. Monthly salary of postdoctoral fellow will be 18,000 RMB (approximating 2800 USD dollar). Requirements: Asuccessful candidate should have received a Ph.D. degree within the last five years in space physics. Good communication and interpersonal abilities are essential to this position, as well as excellent English speaking, reading and writing skills.Candidates recommended by NSSC or INPE shall have priority and are encouraged to apply. Application: Applicants should provide a CV, scan copy of diploma, a brief research summary, a publication list, and two or three letters of reference.
