| 内容 | Todd: So, Adrienne, we've been talking about food. It's late afternoon. What are you doing for dinner? What are you going to cook tonight? 托德：埃德里安娜，我们来谈谈食物吧 。现在已经是傍晚了。你晚上打算做什么饭？你今晚打算做什么吃？ Adrienne: I don't think I'll cook tonight. 埃德里安娜：我想我今晚可能不做饭了。 Todd: No, no cooking? 托德：什么，你不做饭吗？ Adrienne: No, I feel lazy today. 埃德里安娜：对，我今天有点懒洋洋的，没精神。 Todd: So you're going to eat out? 托德：那你要去外面吃吗？ Adrienne: Probably. 埃德里安娜：可能吧。 Todd: Yeah, what's on the agenda? What's for dinner? 托德：你有计划了吗？晚上打算吃什么？ Adrienne: I'm not sure yet. There's a couple nice restaurants in my neighborhood so I might go and grab something to eat near here. 埃德里安娜：我还没决定。我家附近有一些不错的餐厅，我可能就去附近吃了。 Todd: So, are you going to go and actually eat in the restaurant or are you just gonna bring it back? 托德：你是打算在餐厅里吃还是打包带走？ Adrienne: Maybe I'll go eat at the restaurant. I don't feel like doing dishes either. 埃德里安娜：我可能会在餐厅里吃。我也不喜欢洗碗。 Todd: Right, well, but it's disposable, you just throw it away, right? 托德：好，不过餐厅打包提供的都是一次性的餐具，吃完以后直接扔掉就行了，不是吗？ Adrienne: Not good for the environment, Todd. 埃德里安娜：托德，这样会污染环境。 Todd: Yeah, I know, but…. Yeah, I don't have any argument for that one. 托德：我知道，可是……对此我并没有异议。 Adrienne: No conscience. 埃德里安娜：这是不道德的做法。 Todd: Yeah, well, I look it this way, you know. You waste a little bit of paper, but you save water because you don't have to wash dishes. 托德：对，我是这样看的。外出吃饭可能会浪费纸，但是你不用洗碗，所以节省了水资源。 Adrienne: Interesting. I think the paper is more detrimental though. 埃德里安娜：这个观点很有意思。不过我认为废纸对环境更有害。 Todd: It's definitely not as renewable as water that's for sure. 托德：当然，因为纸不像水那样可再生。 Adrienne: Maybe. I don't know what environmentalist would argue about that. 埃德里安娜：也许吧。我不清楚环保人士会如何看待这件事。 Todd: So when you go to a restaurant, what things do you look for in a restaurant that you like? 托德：你去餐厅吃饭的话，你最注重的是餐厅的什么地方？ Adrienne: Well, number one, location. They're nearby. That makes it very handy for me. I like the convenience. Two, they have to be…have an interesting menu, a diverse menu, interesting food. I like that. And, also of course be clean and relatively inexpensive. Those are all important points for me to like a restaurant. 埃德里安娜：首先是餐厅的位置。我一般选择附近的餐厅，因为很方便。我喜欢便利。第二点，餐厅的菜单要新颖、丰富，要有一些有意思的食物。我喜欢这种感觉。当然餐厅还要干净，不要太贵。这是我选择餐厅的主要参照。 |
